I've been taking my first steps into game dev as I learn UE5. It's been an exhilarating time getting home from work to throw together a prototype to mess around with features.
I don't know when I'll have something to show, but knowing I will eventually is really gratifying.

Lots of colors this season.
I'm really excited to play Stalker 2 when it releases next week. Not only is it the sequel to the game that caused me to explore titles and developers from countries that I never would have otherwise, but it's also a game made in defiance of an ongoing conflict.

I adore bespoke content like this that covers the history of beloved games. It's an underserved aspect of game coverage that deserves more quality works such as this.

I've been doing courses through gamedev.tv and I can't recommend it enough if you're interested in learning game dev at the beginner level. They run deep sales multiple times a year so if the prices are a turn off just check in periodically.
