Could that have been “all I ever wanted” by Kelly clarkson? It was originally written by a rock band named Aranda I was pretty into in the late 00s and when I heard her singing it on pop radio I thought I was having a stroke. She also sang another song of theirs on the same album.

I just have to say: “You wouldn’t ask a clown who has just fashioned a balloon animal for a child, ‘What did you really mean by that?’” is certainly the finest sentence I’ve read so far in 2024 and may well be so at the end of the year.

Hah no worries. I think the only truly non cringe way to do it is to post like you always have without acknowledging it’s your first post. I took an alternate approach lol
