My mate Adam has a proper hydraulic spring compressor so swiftly to his this a.m. and now struts are assembled. OSF in place with new arms too

The pinch bolt on R hub that secures the strut would not move. Steel bolt plus alloy hub plus 20 years equals horrible corrosion
No room to swing a hammer but room to fire an SDS hammer action drill at it!

Well it’s been a fight, as the assorted bits here will testify. 20 years of corrosion on wishbone to hub fixings meant lots of choppy chop with disc-cutter
However all ‘bones’ now free at hub so tomorrow will see front end fully disassembled
