Just back from wheel alignment in Newark and the first proper drive in the 325i after replacing shocks, springs, anti-roll bar links/bushes and key suspension arms
Transformed. The Bilstein B6 set up is a marvellous rise/ handling compromise

All done!
Rear now completed with new links as well as springs and Bilstein B6s
Took liners out and liberally dosed the area with @BulldogBDX Alphalan
Good timing as some surface rust on battery box
Full alignment booked for Monday 0900

The final fight with the front suspension on the 325i has been won
The pinch bolt on R hub that secures the strut would not move. Steel bolt plus alloy hub plus 20 years equals horrible corrosion
No room to swing a hammer but room to fire an SDS hammer action drill at it!

Well it’s been a fight, as the assorted bits here will testify. 20 years of corrosion on wishbone to hub fixings meant lots of choppy chop with disc-cutter
However all ‘bones’ now free at hub so tomorrow will see front end fully disassembled
