I’ve only seen two of the new Poker Face episodes but didn’t enjoy them as much as the first set - the Cynthia Erivo episode was made for that Glass Onion ‘it’s just dumb’ meme. Maybe that was the point and I don’t get it?

I thought The Studio would be overly indulgent and referential and not hold drown under the weight of the cameos but it’s turned out to be more fun and less pro-faced than I thought, and the ‘faces’ are well deployed

This season of Taskmaster has felt fresher than any in a while just when it was getting a bit stale - Jason Mantzoukis is so good on it but that’s not the only reason

The Pitt - incredible television, and should sweep the Emmys next time round. The whole cast are amazing, a genuine ensemble although Noah Wyle heads it up brilliantly. Refreshing to have a hospital show with some actual hospital in it. Thanks @kaysi.bsky.social for relentlessly pushing it for weeks

Hacks is as good as ever, although again the pace seems a touch off at times (major character arcs resolved in the space of half an episode to conveniently reset the central relationship, too convenient - maybe this gets paid off by the end of the season)

I felt The Last Of Us was very overrated past the initial few episodes, suffered from very uneven pacing of characters who could have had longer arcs being introduced and disappeared within 2 episodes. Hard to care about any threat or ally if they only get 30 mins screen time
