"We provide a classical simulation of DWave quantum "s-word" paper." Sure, it's one simulation from the paper, but we only extrapolated diamond at 20ns. Unless I am confused, your ansatz struggles with longer simulations, and you only show results for 7ns. It's a great advance, but it has limits.

But the more important point is: You are insinuating that you've spoofed all of our results, where in reality you're attempting a tiny corner of the parameter space. Omitting this very important detail is pretty cynical, because you seem to be suggesting that your methods have no limits.

The two-point fit for high-precision diamond at 7ns shown in our Fig.4b is trivial, as we note in the caption, and we do not extrapolate it. So what parameters are you talking about, for these 200 year MPS runtimes?

Please clarify that you performed only a relatively easy subset of the simulations, instead of suggesting that you performed all of them. In the next version I hope you can compare against a ground truth computed by @mstoud.bsky.social et al., who should be able to provide it at large scale.
