... the ballot props to extend various town offices from 2 to 4 year terms in North Greenbush as well. I don't know how much support those props had. They were defeated but not as obviously outrageously as the Stephentown library prop.

I suspect in the end we'll find that only the Stephentown Library proposition was wrong (it is certainly wrong) though perhaps...

This was the closest election for town council that Brunswick has seen this century. Our two great Democrats closed the gap considerably.
