Private donations should be made illegal, along with 2nd jobs, revolving doors, bribes for honours, lobbying etc. A 'clean up politics' bill would be popular with the public who say 'they are all in it for themselves '

Mandelson making millions using political connections is just a mini version of Blair-style corruption. Feeding his money back into politics by aiding and abetting the Starmer faction's takeover just compounds it. Until we get constitutional reform to get rid of money from politics weare doomed.

Interesting to compare Goodwin with 'baroness' Claire Fox - whom BBC seem to have endlessly on Newsnight and panel shows . She went seamlessly from far left Revolutionary Communist Party to far right ultra 'libertarianism' . The common thread seems to be ambition and desperate attention seeking .

The Inquiry chairperson shows no sign of doing this, despite the whole thing supposed to be about applying 'lessons learned'. It would show up the utter failure of @UKHSA and @NHS top management to inform the public

The main parties and most leading politicians are funded by their dark money 'donors'. Public servants & councillors cant accept gifts, but MP's and government minsters now totally dependent on bribes from vested interests. Corruption from top to bottom, in plain sight.

Such foreign donations to any party should be illegal. All major parties are more and more funded by dark money rather than members subscriptions. We need a Commission on the Constitution COTC to clean the political stables.

Criminal charges for the politicians who did this? I don't think so.

Of course he 'never engaged' - that's the modus vivendi of this govt. They do not discuss. They are running scared of ideas or scientific truths, or simply too authoritarian.

BBC colludes by never asking whether it will work - they don't do journalism , no curiosity, don't search for truth - just 'impartial' between opposing opinions. They did have the head of refugee council saying it wouldn't work, but just left it hanging -didnt take it up with Govt. spokespersons

But why does BBC never really grill @wesstreeting on unemployed doctors, on lack of training places and career paths for newly qualified doctors. Govt shackled themselves with false economics. There is money. Keynes:' anything we can actually do we can afford'.
November 18, 2025 at 7:57 PM
BBC guidelines - 'balance', 'impartiality' not fit for purpose . Essentially meaning 'we don't find the truth, we balance truth with opinion'. Couldn't show 'Doctors Under Attack' because it might have seemed 'partial'. They 'balanced' climate change science against N Lawson's denial for 10 years.

The @UKHSA is still dispensing disinformation by not asserting clearly thst sars2covid is airborne, not recommending clean air, masks where appropriate and vaccines for all. Wont discuss or explain. Smacks of managers planted by govt. 'back to work, it's over'
November 13, 2025 at 7:23 PM
This makes one think there may be some kind of deep state conspiracy with BBC complicit. The media would have been screaming 'Russian puppets' if it had been Labour or Green rather than Farage and Reform . And why doesn't a watchdog instigate a full public inquiry about 'foreign influence'?

This isnt an analysis - rather 'whinging' he accuses 'environmentalists' of doing. If nuclear is so good and the £bns cost of the waste clean up so trivial - let the private sector get on with it. They won't - its uninsureable, and needs open ended public subsidy over 100 years or more.
