We followed a similar pattern, (successfully so far). Our bridge from an acute hospitalization to long term care was a 10-day stay in memory care made possible by a caregiver respite grant. That got our foot in the door for longer term memory care.

The irony of posting quotes about the importance of sharing one’s real voice…it’s a nice little kick for me to keep working to know who I am (and am becoming) and to share that with you and the others alongside me.

Cannot be overstated that the dominant project for people boosting this tech is to convince users that they can’t trust their own senses and they should give their body over to the machine.
