sorry: to clarify - Afterlife just ended mid story. it was pretty good though, worth finding - I think it's just 10 issues.... but they are incredibly good (and I'm not a horror comic/movie fan)

same with Afterlife with Archie - it just ended. but they were down to one issue a year for the last couple so it wasn't surprising. I totally forgot that there was a Sabrina TV show but I think both shows were so far removed from the comics, I can see how that didn't translate into sales.

I'm shocked by this given that Riverdale ran for so long - but maybe that show was the culmination of 80 years of publication rather than the launchpad for a new era. They were really making strides on rejuvenating what they do (Afterlife with Archie was SO GOOD) but... sigh, there it is.

target doesn't get it and neither does corporate America - a glance through LinkedIn will show you that they'll come up with a hundred reasons why Target has taken a nosedive this year EXCEPT for their policies to exclude people. It's really fascinating watching grown adults be in such denial.

I've been saying this for awhile now - if they revealed themselves to have taken over people body-snatcher style, I wouldn't even blink. given the personality changes many of them have gone through, it would explain a lot. Sadly, it's just bc they're crazy/greedy etc

if only Chelsea Handler still had a show - that's the one that Kegseth should be a guest on

Kegseth is the "Kite Man" of this comic book cabinet.

my first DCs were a three pack of Action, Flash, and JLA in mid 1976 - I had been reading Harvey for a couple years and these stories and art were a revelation and I've been reading DC ever since. And yes, those 100 pagers were amazing and a great value for a teenager.

I figured out that on most flights, I can decrease the 'brightness' to zero and that leaves the screen dark. but it does enrage me too that they're charging me for the flight AND making money on running ads.
