Today I met Post Offices Minister Gareth Thomas MP with @JeffSmithetc We discussed our petition. Almost 2,400 signatures opposing the closure of #Didsbury and Harpurhey Post Offices. The key points: importance of retaining the staff expertise and the full services on offer.

A sobering morning visiting the devastated Bradley Fold allotments in #Didsbury with MP @JeffSmithetc @LindaFLabour @Les4didsburyE and @DebbieHilal meeting allotment holders Katy and Godfrey. Then on to examine the banks of the Mersey which have been swept away by the floods.
