No problem. It goes from Liverpool north to Southport, Ormskirk and Kirkby and south to Hunts Cross. Hope this is solved, it's fascinating.

Plus not taking my camera with me more often, especially when I was chasing 503s in 1984; losing my notebooks from the 80's; and missing out on seeing Woodhead when it was open.

Getting to Epping at about 1445 one afternoon in 1991, thinking the Ongar service was all day, then finding out it was over 1.5 hours to the next train and not waiting.

Remember seeing it here about 20 years ago. I'd just walked into the front room one Sunday morning then I heard a roar... Then my jaw dropped as it appeared and flew low over the valley with that wonderful engine sound.

Had a very enjoyable trip in one of these from Skegness to Doncaster in 1988. Nice summer day and had the forward view, great stuff.

Saw it on test near Winsford on 25/02/88. Was on a 142 heading to Liverpool when the guard came out of the front cab and said "come and have a look at this". And it was heading up the down slow line.
