It’s a brilliant TV movie. I used it as a focus for a teaching session about directing drama. The scene where the Woman in Black appears over the bed and looms into him is brilliant, and I remember when it was shown on ITV faded into black for a commercial break in a very effective and dramatic way.

Is that when he says something like “leave it -“ then it cuts to him in the bar place on his own and he finishes “-alone” I haven’t seen it for years but yes that moment stuck with me (if I’ve remembered it right!)

If you are referring to other season 21 stories, they are all made in one overlapping period of production for the different stories and therefore very difficult I would imagine to learn lessons and change approach / monster requirements during this period.

I really like these recreated studio spaces - thanks for sharing them. This one also solves a query I always had, I was sure you could see a piece of TARDIS interior out of focus behind one of the companion CUs when they all crouch next to him when he is going to regenerate… now it’s clear why!
