Bird flu cases have thus far primarily come from contaminated beef, lettuce, spinach, fish and shellfish, chicken and turkey, and prepared food. Are we equally inclined to think the plague is also caused by these products?

Sheesh, it was a mistake. That mistake certainly has severe consequences. Unless it was purposeful and malicious, this would be an inhumane way of handling a mistake in the work place
