I’m 68. I got my formal #ActuallyAutistic diagnosis 13 months ago.
This late in life you’d think it would make no difference. But it does: I have liberated myself from masking (some of the time) and I can explain to people close to me why they shouldn’t be alarmed if I do things they don’t expect.
