Want to reduce perceived uncertainty by billions of fish? Try highest density intervals instead of equal-tailed intervals. Can also change perception of stock health.

...but today NOAA abruptly shifted shifted the Hake review meeting to be online only. It's already booked and paid for, hotels booked, 30-40 people travelling to attend, and industry members now out of pocket. During covid, the online meetings were vastly less effective for international diplomacy.
