We're halfway through the Monaco Grand Prix, and The Smooth Operator is solidly in 10th. Circulating around 5-7 seconds off the fastest race lap. Looks like 5PM traffic on Main Road.

Lovely Sunday morning, sitting like a dassie in the sunshine, watching a great Golden Week 3hr Super GT race wind down in the (lengthening) shadows of Fuji. Last minute drama, too!

That's the the most distasteful display of Grand Prix "racing" that I've seen in a while. Pundits flapping and looking for a way to positive spin the whole clusterfuck.

Very fashionable to trot out the "It's a better problem to have, to rein a driver in, than to have to urge/teach him faster.." psuedo-wisdom, but the rate at which this kid is destroying $$$ equipment is simply not sustainable for Williams. #f1
