4/ My paper was included but didn’t meet these criteria—getting all “red cards” across the board. This made me reflect on how different approaches to process tracing necessarily have to meet these standards.

In this @italpubpolicy.bsky.social article, Lippi and I examine the Italian NRRP as a policy tool that blends social and technical elements to legitimize political authority and revitalize policy agendas, without necessarily incentivizing innovation processes.

However effective the panoptic scheme may be in controlling megaproject participants, there always remain margins of resistance for those who oppose it and view the megaproject as a threat.

In this @politicsandspace.bsky.social Esposito, Pichault & I analyze Performance Management Systems as tools for shaping power relations in megaprojects. Using Panopticon theory, we show how these systems enforce control through observation, examination, and normalization.
