You could have written a better headline. This is very misleading and inconsiderate given the actual story behind it. His family was struggling and he needed the money. Period. Anyone would have done the same.

It means “to hoist” someone up high, and figuratively it can also mean to highlight or stress something if you say it as “hacer hincapié”

Thank you for holding space and being open about this. As fans we can forgive and forget football decisions, but forgetting or even forgiving actions that go against our values is so hard. That’s were the line should be drawn. This should never happen again.

It was just explained to you what intifada actually means. It is absolutely not a call to murder anyone, but a call to resist and fight back against oppression. It also applies to Jews. The rebellion and resistance includes all oppressed or endangered groups.
