I think that since the content is a lot shorter people follow more accounts and end up depending a lot more on the algorithm even for people they follow.
I've seen lots of creators with 100k followers and not even 3/4k views on recent videos. And that translates to bigger accounts too.

Yes, but its also a problem that many times some of this kind of games cant keep the players attention. You played 60hs of Days Gone while also playing SoD2,I am Your Beast and several other games.
Many games "lose" the players by not having enough incentives to finish the main story
