I understand that there are some problems but I think that this aggressive attitude against the "descendents" (who are not racists at all) of the suppressors will do no good - will actually make the things worse. I am from a different culture , different education and different background. I never ever imagined that racism is still such a big thing in our days. Of course, there are still some crazy people like the lunatics from KKK but i still think that this is less than 1 percent of the total

I am from a country from Eastern Europe that had to pay tribute (in money and SLAVES) to the Ottoman empire for hundreds of years. After that we also were under russian influence for almost 50 years. Please believe me, history was cruel to us.

There is indeed a movement of freedom in Hawaii. However, I think the vast majority of the population wanted to join the US. Also I agree that the treatment of the indigenous people was not fair. But what do we do NOW ? History is full of mistakes. Reber the inquisition

Ask the people in east Europe and north Asia and you will see the influence of Russia. Lete remember that Russia is still an empire (the last one) that includes multiple conquested nations and cultures (Daghestan, Tatarstan, etc. etc.)

Btw, since we discussed a few days ago: there should be no such thing as white liberals and black liberals. There should be only liberals (which, indeed, it's a totally different thing in Europe and USA)

This is really stupid. Black, white, hispanic, asian .. all the people are EQUAL. I think it is really wrong to do any segregation ( including the "don't be friendly to white people" because they will want to dominate you). Let's better focus on other values that differentiate us, not on the color
