We still have several ECR bursaries for the Foldamers meeting (see foldamers2025.com to register) which pays for conference fees, travel and board! Applicants need to be from or based in the UK but there is still a student rate for those who are not. #chemistry #conference #foldamers #supramolecular

Had a great time at the Indian Peptide Society meeting. Here is a photo of me with the last slide, shamelessly advertising the Sept 1-3rd Foldamers meeting in London. Please come along! www.foldamers2025.com #chemsky

A niche #Chemistry #ChemSky #ChemEd summary, assigning stereochemical descriptors to axial & equatorial chirality. I know some argue these phrases are meaningless, but they're terms used by synthetic chemists. I know others just hate stereochemistry (you weirdos)! Hope it is useful (& corrected)

We are deeply saddened to share that our friend and colleague Professor Amos B. Smith III has passed away. Amos joined Penn in 1973 and was a mainstay in our organic chemistry division. He recently celebrated 50 years of service to @upenn.edu @pennsas.bsky.social.

I started this Minecraft cathedral a few years ago, but progress has been slow because I only play it with the boychild and he only ever wants to play in extreme survival mode rather than this creative mode. But it’s getting there. Only the transepts and ambulatory to go…. Maybe another 2 years?

A really fun afternoon/evening. Hope everyone watching thought so!
Thank you so much to our Chemistry professors @andrecobb.bsky.social & @rli22.bsky.social for delivering such engaging and inspiring talks at our final Inaugural Lecture of 2024! From building with carbon inspired by #Lego to exploring protein folding, both have led fascinating careers in research.

Well this is an incredible effort - useful for anyone thinking of creating a starter pack and wondering if their theme already exists!
Did some tidying up of the links for chemistry related starter packs, arranged loosely by subject area, and added who maintains the list so you know who to speak with if you'd like to be added!
