Even in the case of Meta targeting children/vulnerable people, they had to defend themselves in Congress, but what came of it? A slap on the wrist...

I think we have sadly always been there...

I don't mean to be super negative, but corporations have always dumped shit into the ocean/rivers, knowing fully well the harm they were causing, just as an example, among many...people have died from this as well.

Not unlike social media platforms targeting kids and vulnerable people...

There is enough money being made that this will be ignored until something tragic happens.
