This actually makes me cry. To try to erase trans people is vile enough but to erase them from a movement they were a part of? I hate it here.

Because we all know how white people have been historically oppressed in South Africa. I’m so ashamed to live in a country that elected this person not once but twice.

I am so tired of this framing. This is not “expanding.” I cannot “expand” my property by taking my neighbor’s land just because I want it. “Oh cool they have a pool in their yard. I’ll just expand my territory and take it.”
Yet another reprehensible decision to make the lives of LBGTQ+ students harder. How exactly are my rights as a teacher violated by making my students feel safe in my classroom? They need a safe space to learn and I will do whatever I can to give them that.
