The response includes links like this where you can check the accuracy. Indeed, ChatGPT's response that 234 authors contributed to the report from WG1 is correct.

AR6 had ~9000 pages, DOE report ~140.
AR6 had ~50,000 references cited, the DOE report had ~350.
This tells you something about how comprehensive they are and how diverse the input used was.
