Agreed. There needabe clear cut defs. If a company train an llm on their own stuff and nothing else it's "fine" ("s because it might lead to employees being sacked) but it's not an absolute abomination. I could imagine having a "me machine" at some point in history. >I don't actually want it. But eh

I'll think about these chars for hours. If they're part of the universe they're part of the universe. I see your point but it is a Nintendo dick move to sway your experience this way. Why even do this? Who is this char for? Surely there are plenty of ways to teach the player to press A?

Focus groups. 100%... Kind of a let down. If they had shown the public this character half a year ago they might have been able to redo the model, replace the name and replace the dialogue and it would be fine.
