Twitter ex-pat, lover of TTRPGs, my mother took Tylenol while pregnant. I like to make my own game systems for funsies. Maybe I’ll publish one day.
Aw man, now I’m thinking about the faked suicide in The Wire that happened that way and am sad again. 😢

In the case of Nashville, the city is currently being screwed by the state for funding the old stadium which is in need of expensive repairs anyway. I can see why building a new one is a better deal for us, but I’d much rather that money go to our terrible infrastructure instead.

Oh shit, I didn’t know he was on Bluesky!

If you want to know where the BS idea that there was a connection came from, @hbomberguy.bsky.social has an excellent video going into it. I low-key think the story could be turned into a Spotlight-esque film.

All of his work is fantastic, but this video is especially important. Wakefield is a terrible person.

My wife is 34 and would flip her shit for this set.

I live in Nashville and most of the population is pissed that we are building them a new stadium despite being a terrible team. They are a joke even here.

Fantastic use of whomst. Woefully underused word.

And indeed she loved it and said Twin Peaks is too melodramatic.

I don’t know that one, but I will certainly will ask my wife when I tell her this story! (She will love this)

Oh yes, my wife is kinda the same way and adores Twin Peaks. I still do not see her wanting to put on the soundtrack during sex.

That second bit is hilarious though. I have to know which movie it is.

On one hand, there’s value in picking your battles and not immediately jumping to another big election before shoring up support from the latest win. On the other, I also don’t like that a mayor-elect might have that much influence.

What little I’ve heard of the Twin Peaks soundtrack only serves to confuse me more. I can understand playing certain music during sex, but Twin Peaks?

Luckily it was just an invitation!

We should nuke every data center from orbit.

It’s an evergreen statement.

Even ignoring the controversy over bailing out any industry, why would we even bail out AI companies? What value are they adding to our lives? They don’t make cars or offer mortgages. The average American would be entirely unaffected by the disappearance of the industry.

What “certain show” is this? I never watch reality TV.

Now if only that applied to Joe himself.

A representative democracy requires candidates that reflect the values of the population. Unfortunately, he is a reflection of his voters.

This is why I refuse to sign up for any store discount card or points tracker. Just give me what I paid for and let’s move on.
