Testing a fixed camera view when inside a cannon. I think it makes things feel calmer and more Donkey Kong-like! Right now it zooms back in after landing, but I might keep it fixed outside the cannon too. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegames

You can also use both fingers if needed. Easy to pick up, but precise timing is key. The game is inspired by the barrel-blasting mechanics of Donkey Kong Country, with pre-rendered sprites to match. Let me know what you think!

I've been working on my first indie game, Nugget's Blast Away, since last June. It’s a reaction-based vertical platformer for iOS.
You blast from cannon to cannon, avoiding obstacles, landing on platforms, and dodging enemies. It’s still early in development but would love to hear any feedback.
