Chatting with GPT-5 is like talking to a door from Sirius Cybernetics Corporation, but more useful.
One more attempt with google gemini cli. I gave it a budget of $100. It used $570 (i.e. more than 5x) without completing the task. Lots of tokens were wasted when it got stuck in loops and not advancing. The billing overview lags, and I saw the spent amount only the day after the fact. Not happy.

Will probably cancel Google AI Pro and wait for them to get their sh*t together. Gemini CLI managed to produce some almost working code (though in need of cleanup) and it looked promising. But I constantly get "You exceeded your current quota" when using an API key.
