This is not helpful for anything. Doesn't help Germany, doesn't help Europe. At the very least they have to come out in public and explain themselves, explain their demands. Knives in the dark is a completely abhorrent way of utilizing a democratic mandate. Germany is becoming a joke, needs fixing.

Long form talks but with actual subject matter experts. The ideal person is somebody who has worked in a field for decades, has never been on media before and never will again. Illuminate people on specifics, not generalities. No mutual reinforcement of shallow biases.
