Day 3 of making a little drawing ft. the Hex Girls' guitar 🎸 (specifically from Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost which is one of my favorites)

and the first pop of color (so far)! I want to stick to just black ink for the most part, but I just had to include the red!

Really lucky to be a part of two different art shows this past month.

One of which was at Tia Chucha's (a bookstore). It was super fun to take part and get to see so many other cool artworks!

I got to show my #painting, Recuerdo de Mi Tierra, an #acrylic and #oilpainting which was so fun to make!

I'm trying to do more sketches and just drawing for the fun of it this year, instead of just doing sketches for actual paintings and projects.

I did all of these maybe in an hour?? It's was probably 10ish minutes for most of them

The finished painting! 🥳 I had so much fun making this, especially because I did it all with just acrylic! it was a super cool challenge, plus I adore having hight contrast in values :)

never did I think painting slightly different shades of grey would be so difficult, yet so rewarding 😅

finished the first dress and now working on the background :)

I was going to do the second dress first, but I decided against it with how dark the background will be. I wanna make sure my values will be accurate since I'm planning on a white dress!

Last summer I made this mural of Machu Picchu. It was the first time I ever made a mural and worked at such a big scale (for reference its about 5 feet tall and around 9 feet from the longest point)

It was a lot of work and time, but I love the end result!
