Venezuelan doctor. Neurology resident at Duke. Interested in cognitive neurology, aging, and the human side of brain health.
I hope to see you all at #AAIC25! I will be presenting on how smartphone GPS data shows that Latino adults with larger life space (who travel further from home in their daily lives) have better cognitive function. Life space could serve as an early, accessible screening tool for ADRD risk.

Every day, I take extra time to help my Spanish-speaking & uninsured patients, who have less access to healthcare. My research fights for more equitable dementia treatment & diagnosis. The system keeps creating barriers, but every day, I’ll keep pushing for science & justice in healthcare!

The heart of a hospice nurse is not spoken about enough. Such an honorable specialty with admirable people. I am so grateful to learn from them.

Hi everyone! I’m a neurology resident at Duke, MD from Venezuela, and future physician-scientist focused on aging and dementia research. Passionate about how behavior and social factors impact health. Outside of work, I’m hiking, playing guitar, or enjoying a cafecito. Excited to connect!
