So the Dream Harbor series is Gilmore Girls fanfiction, right? (I’m not going to read it to check, got too much on my tbr)

2025 is shaping up to be the year of autobiographical nature writing, does anyone have recommendations for me? I’ve got Robert Macfarlane, Nan Shepard and Barry Lopez on the pile already and I’ll probably re-read H is for Hawk for the millionth time, but let’s keep the pile growing!

Why has no one told me about Gadget Man? Richard Ayoade testing useless gadgets turns out to be all I need in life

I’m on the train and within a radius of two rows, there’s three people watching stuff on their phones with the loudspeaker on. I’m about ready to commit murder at this point.

Guys. Listen. In all seriousness, this book is actual magic.

I’m reading Kazuo Ishiguro’s The Remains of the Day (yes, yes, late to the party, I know), and let me tell you it has *never* felt this appropriate to use the word “exquisite” about a piece of prose

Went for an instagram account instead of a blog. Give me a follow if you’re interested in which 100 books I end up reading and what I think about them!

If blogging is still a thing, what platforms are we using? I guess GitHub pages would work, but there’s possibly some much better options out there?

Is blogging still a thing? I’m reading a 100 books in 2025 and writing about them (well, I’ve finished one book so far and I’ve written ikke three paragraphs about it). Feels like a very blog-y project, might turn in into a blog.

Just read Deborah Levy’s Living Autobiography (Things I Don’t Want to Know; The Cost of Living; Real Estate) and let me tell you -. I don’t know what to tell you, I have no words. Just amazing. Amazing.

In Swedish, the days between Christmas and New Year’s are called “mellandagarna”. The in-between days. And this really feels like a time of neither/nor, transition, liminality. Of maybe I’m just very suggestible.

If I ever move back to Sweden, it’ll be for the following two reasons: 1. The language. Swedish is the best Scandinavian language hands down. 2. Elderflower. Elderflower soda? Of course! Elderflower sorbet? We got you! Elderflower jelly? Sure! Norway needs to get on the elderflower train.

First day of #CHR2024, let’s go! Very excited for the literature session this afternoon, ALL the topics sound super interesting. And it’s awesome in general to be at a digital humanities type conference that’s so heavy on literary studies

Heard Denmark was flat, but doesn’t seem like Aarhus got the memo. Had a nice (very slow, out-of-shape) run anyway!

Years ago, I read a tweet/tumblr post/something that said “Hallways are liminal spaces” and it lives in my head rent free. It’s not even that profound, but I guess I’ve tricked myself into thinking it says something about the poignancy of everyday life or something?
