Trying to use UML before coding a game in O3DE, more details on my mastodon post, but in summary, it's more helpful if it's done as an overview and it helped me avoiding some mistakes ahead.

Still very early, but I hope I finish this idea, I also want it to be libre and open source :3

Yesterday I finished my Global Game Jam game with Danilo Bezerra!

It's made for Sega MegaDrive/Genesis, and it works on real hardware ✨

It's written in C with SGDK through the Marsdev toolchain

Turns out my previous prototype was causing o3de to crash easily (probably bc I switched the engine version many times before the stable version launch, this probably broke something).

So, I'm trying something more cliché, from the stable version

Rewriting my prototype from Carp to Nelua, and got this interesting comparison.

The interesting bit it's how accessing fields on carp (and I suppose on lisp in general?) it's reversed compared to Nelua which is more traditional.
