Early light bulbs also lasted longer; we are not old enough to remember that. Veritasium has a great video on planned obsolescence and how the light bulb industry conspired to make light bulbs last only a certain amount of time.

I think they would have all agreed that he was the brightest in the group. Many of them had the same math teacher in high school.

It would be nice to chat with one of the Hungarian martians: Von Neumann, Wigner, Szilárd, Teller, Hevesy, von Kármán ... etc. I am sure there were some interesting conversations during the Manhattan project.
