Inspired by recent knife posts, my purple knives!
Bottom: Mtech MT-A907. A cheapo but safer than $5 crap I'd been using.
Center: My fav & most used, Kizer C10C Sheepdog. From the profile to the mechanicals, this is a joy to use.
Top: CIVIVI Typhoeus fixed blade/push-dagger switchable. Fast, slick!

An 1871 token from the Oakland, Brooklyn, & Fruitvale R. R. Company, which operated a horse-drawn streetcar, a "horsecar", in the aforementioned towns which later merged into greater Oakland.
This variation has 8-windows in the streetcar. A 7-window version also exists.

Since I'm having such trouble posting pics, I'm going to be trying some experiments to try to pin down the problem. Please bear with me.

Looking through an old SD card (is that redundant?) and came across this.

Don't ask. I have NO IDEA.
Three small silver Doritos bags of indeterminate but not new age, the first with a blue label, second with orange, third with yellow. All labeled Doritos Jacked, the first Test Flavor 2653, 2nd Test Flavor 855, 3rd test Flavor 404. At the top each says Be Bold Win Gold Daily, and at the bottom below the test flavor number each says Bold Flavor Experiment be a bold taste tester and you could get paid in gold!

A few things I picked up. Personalized leather bag, wallet & coin purse, boots from American Duchess x Dandy Wellington, designer and bandleader's Harlemology collection. I have a few other matching things - personalized wrap bracelet with quote and earrings, pony tail cinch, etc. A small ensemble.

A guy from Germany tried to name all 50 US states. Inside a map of the USA he has written his guesses, to humorous effect. I'm sorry, but it is far too complex for me to convey in any way the ways in which he has done this. It would take thousands of words. Is anyone even still paying attention?
Here's the shirt, bag and clutch wallet for starters. The shirt is supposed to be unisex but I find it to be quite masc, so it needs... creativity. And in my case they sent VERY much the wrong size, the issue I needed to contact them about.

Some tenacious glue still holding back some spare ink though. Nasty stuff. It's surprisingly hard to take a pic of a tattoo on your own hand, so some distortion.

My latest tie-die acquisition, my newest hoodie. I love Mason's work, though I have to admit I'm actually disappointed in this one - the colors are much more drab in person than they appear in photography. Still, this is a pretty cool effect and a very tricky, time-consuming one for him to pull off.
A tie-die hoodie with red, orange and blue circles as a base layer spreading outward, overlaid with dark black rays on top spreading out from that central point which totally cover the color underneath where the black is, apart from small "bubble" gaps in the black rays... creating a very dramatic effect.

I got this done today. It's not complete. It is distorted because the surface is a strange angle so this is not flat, rather tilted up and to the side, there is redness from irritation and it is covered with a plastic clear bandage which wrinkles.

Its not finished. Detail to be added. Oh one more 🧵

Here is the original ancient Scythian piece which inspired these.

I've used these for over 20 years, became known for it and for that many years I've wanted a tattoo on my hand of it... OK, here's the reveal next, I'll shaddup...🧵
An ancient bronze piece of horse tack from the Scythian culture, gold in color, somewhat tarnished and damaged but mostly intact, depicting a panther coiled into a circle, its limbs tucked into the center in a symmetrical correspondingly circular pattern. It has its mouth open with teeth bared, and there is a recessed area for the eye which some suggest may once have held a stone. The coiled panther motif recurred many times in the culture.
