I’ve seen this before. I don’t speak on the Black experience bc I am a white woman who acknowledges my privilege. I also teach public school & see that racism is alive & thriving, and privilege is still a real thing. Maybe your Black friends can explain it to you.

Imagine being so privileged that the idea of this being a reality for so many people flies over your head or you’re too callous to care, and you make a comment like this.
