I was sad to hear the news about Tony Fitzpatrick. I first met Tony in 1988 when I was editor of Chicago Jazz & Blues News and we profiled him in our first issue.
After all this time, I was always pleasantly surprised that, not only did Tony remember my name, but he always pronounced it correctly.

Joseph Levato, proprietor of Jimbo's Tavern (now Cork & Kerry), wasn't included in the #WhiteSox opening day In Memoriam tributes. But it was still nicely done, with the picture of Bill Melton getting the biggest reaction.
