I’ve got a rye starter which looks great and lively, and a white flour one which is less successful, but makes great crumpets so nothing wasted!

I’ve seen a ton of YT videos: just need to practice the kneading I think!

Any place a beginner like me can go for tips: I’ve literally got as far as a week raising a rye starter on the kitchen bench.

This is pure witchcraft! I’m going to take the time to understand how that works, because there’s obviously a huge amount for me to learn from this. Thanks!

Did a trip around Eire last Easter. Glad I had heated gear: it snowed! Scary.

Nah: I learnt to ride a few years ago through the winter months: did 1000+ miles on my 125 on random roads found by Callimoto, there’s good riding out there as long as it’s above zero.
