Even if everyone agrees to release the Epstein files, I don't think it'll happen. Bondi will argue that the justice dept has been ordered to investigate democratic involvement, and the files can't be released until that's concluded.

Tr has no intention of reopening the govt. For him, this shutdown has no downsides.
Plus, as long as the House is closed down, the Epstein files won't be released.
