I stopped when I saw a spotlight local authors display and said aloud to my friend, “I want to be THERE someday, and I’m not sure it’s ever going to happen.”

I had just finished a manuscript then titled “Come Fly with Me” a few weeks earlier. ☺️

I’ll never forget walking into that SAME EXACT Barnes & Noble in the late Spring of 2021 and browsing the shelves. At that time, I had spent the last several years collecting query rejections on four other manuscripts.
