Same! I live across the country from mine, so I don’t get to see them a lot. But my niece asked me to be her “pen pal” so we send stuff back and forth in the mail. It’s cute

This! My niece and nephew have two sets of grandparents that spoil them and load them up with presents. But my niece has a box by her bed with her “treasures” and it’s got the notes and cards and stickers and friendship bracelets that I’ve given her. Sometimes it’s the small things that matter most

That is great! I lucked into a husband who didn’t really want them either. And we checked in with each other over the years to make sure neither of us had changed our minds. And we didn’t. We are happy with just us. And enjoyed being “parents” to the pets we’ve had over the years

Ugh. That’s terrible when others pressure you. Like they want you do do all the hard work while they just do the easiest stuff. None of their business! I’m just thankful my parents understand my feelings. And that my brother has kids so at least they have those. That took some guilt off of me

I get. I’m all for doing what makes you happy. And for some, that’s having kids. And that’s great for them. But I have never wanted them, and I would never bring a child into the world that isn’t wanted. And as I get older, my feelings haven’t changed. I’m still happy with my choice. No regrets

I get it! I’ve only read 2 so far. It’s so overwhelming to keep adding more and more to my saved fics and not be able to make a dent in them. But I’m hoping to catch up this weekend also

Right?! Ivy WAS Marilyn. And Karen had a beautiful singing voice but she had no experience on Broadway! Ivy had worked her way up in the ensemble of other shows for years
