I also love what the show is doing with Angel. David Zayas is such a remarkable actor and it’s so easy to feel every emotion in his performance. Angel’s scenes with Dexter gave me chills that reminded me of the wonderful garage scene from Breaking Bad.

Dexter’s attempts to reconnect with and be a father to Harrison have been compelling especially for me being a new dad. Dexter has always been a fascinating character and it’s been nice having these later seasons.
