Understand what gov't is claiming right to do.

Take away the "alleged." Assume US military stops vessel & finds drugs aboard.

If what US did w/ moving boat is legal, then it would be equally legal to line up crew of stopped boat, shoot them all in head, then blow up boat.

For drug crime.

No.

In case you wondered whether ICE has fully transitioned to a tool of a fascist regime: This is not something any federal agent should shout at a member of the public.
While masked agents were violently attacking a delivery worker this morning, bystanders repeatedly asked to see their badge numbers but they refused.

Bystander: You guys are ruining this country, you know that, right?

Agent: Liberals already ruined it.

BRENNAN: Why would Iran agree to any peace deal if the US has already pulled out of one that they had, as President Trump did in 2018, and now launched surprise attacks?

FACT - The JCPOA negotiated by Obama in 2015:
Reduced Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium
Limited the number of centrifuges
International monitoring of nuclear facilities.
In 2018, Trump withdrew the U.S. from the agreement.
People are dead in this "crisis" because of Trump.

Essential “No Kings Day” reading from my PhD advisor T.H. Breen.

George Washington specifically rejected a military parade like the one Trump is having tomorrow. What seems to a king like a sign of strength should be seen by citizens as a loss of liberty.

What a disgusting, ignorant, arrogant statement by the Secretary of Defense of the United States. Nobody trusts anything he says or does. That’s very dangerous for the US…we depend so much on our Allies. I served in Afghanistan in RC South 2009-2010 where thousands of Allies fought and many died.
HEGSETH: We wore a patch on our shoulder that said ISAF -- International Security Assistance Force. And you know what the joke was? That is stood for 'I saw Americans fighting.'

COONS: Let's just make clear for the record that our military partners in Afghanistan included many who served and died

"Surge". Like in Fallujah.
SCHATZ: Do you think this order applies to any Guard anywhere? Did you just potentially mobilize every Guard?

HEGSETH: Part of it is getting ahead of a problem so that if in other places, if there other riots, we would have the capability to surge National Guard there

Evil. He’s a traitor. He works for Putin. He works for Putin.
“They gave Putin a reason to go in and bomb the hell out of them last night,” Trump says of Kyiv’s Operation Spiderweb.

And before that, there was famously no russian bombings of Ukraine, right? Wrong. You morally rotten piece of shit they bomb us every freaking day!

Now he's snatching students off the street for exercising First Amendment rights — an authoritarian crusade that would make McCarthy himself blush.

Trump didn't get the memo.
First, there must be an unconditional 30-day ceasefire — only then can negotiations begin, not the other way around.
This is the joint position of #Ukraine, the EU, the UK, and the US.

Putin is trying to evade it.
How will events unfold?
We’ll see soon.

Putin rejects a ceasefire backed by the U.S. and Europe, which Ukraine agreed to. So of course, Trump does nothing (despite claiming he would) and instead echoes Putin’s spin about some meeting in Turkey.
