På den franska motsvarigheten till ICA Maxi är utbudet av champagne (och även andra viner) bättre än på svenska Systembolaget. Ett franskt storköp hade 124 olika champagner på 75 cl-flaskor på hyllorna - oräknat udda storlekar som magnum, Methusalem eller halvflaskor - medan Systembolagets premiumbutiker har under 70 sorter. Det gick inte att fotografera alla hyllorna på samma bild dock. Och inte låg det drivor av alkisar utanför heller - inte en enda faktiskt. I övrigt påminns om att du för en prisvärd penning numera kan beställa hem champagne direkt från vingårdar till Sverige, givet att du själv anmäler och betalar in svensk alkoholskatt till Skatteverket, och når då ett beställningssortiment mångfaldigt större än Systembolagets.
