While I agree with the sentiment, it feels like little more than a platitude. What actions do you propose to make this happen and by whom? Mandated pay transparency? Pay equity review boards? Negotiation training? Legislative action, audits & enforcement? Something else?

It doesn't seem like the senator is recognizing ADHD or any other neurodivergence as a disability. And just imagine if he understood that every person who is neurodivergent can present their disability differently.

Yup. This is why it's been over 100 years since people started using insulin to treat Type 1 Diabetes and the treatment (while refined to get new patents and profits) has barely changed since then. It's an exhausting, invisible disease.

Based on the publication date, apparently I wasn't as young as I thought I was when I read it, but I loved The Downsiders. I suppose it's also reminiscent of the Gregor the Overlander series (which I think is still read today?)
