I sort of won! I was in a winning position, so I asked James to guide me through. I often end up stalemating, and yesterday I was winning and lost. So this is not a natural victory. But we had so much fun winning together. #chess

How it started and how it ended. I’m proud of my first game. It began with a very dumb mistake which I decided should be documented. 😂 I recovered and ended well for a beginner. I started lessons about a week ago on a whim to surprise my husband who loves chess. Old dogs can learn new tricks? #chess

This turned out AMAZING. Roasted cauliflower and chickpea salad with onion, parsley, sunflower seeds, and avocado with a honey and smoked paprika dressing. Red onion, which is what the recipe called for, would have given it more fun color.
