💥 I’m very happy to announce that our project has been selected by the IEA to receive one of its Research Grants.

Together with @javiermcanto.bsky.social and a fantastic research team, we will analyse how federalism influences the policy proposals that parties adopt and the leaders they choose.

✅Our findings challenge the idea of a universal trade-off between inclusion and representation. In non-mainstream left parties, increased inclusion through primaries doesn't seem to come at the expense of women’s chances of success.

🌍 Open to scholars from any country, but priority will be given to researchers based in Catalan universities (including visitors).

📚The workshop aims to foster interaction and collaboration among scholars working on empirical political science in Catalonia.

Topics may include:
- Political behavior

- Public policy
- Political economy
