I miss Awffle House. It's one of the best things about going back to the Deep South, after Mexican food. I just hope they treat their workers better, and pay what they are worth. The skill and dedication it takes to be kind to so many customers and to do that short order cooking is impressive.

We had KKK protesting desegregation outside my DeKalb County Georgia elementary school in the 1980s and DeKalb County fought the desegregation order all the way to the supreme court during that decade. Those shitty humans are still alive and voting.
