That's a ridiculous leap Séan and you know it. Why do you find a simple point so triggering? If I said incels choosing not to procreate are not contributing to the gene pool, you'd dance a jig. Do you not see your own prejudice?

See, you're just being rude rather than addressing the ideas. I've nothing to 'wriggle out of' feminists who choose not to have children are not contributing to the gene pool. Fact.

"females should reproduce"? You're binding me to a straw man argument then setting it on fire. That's harldy what Stephen Fry calls the "Oxford way" of engaging "playfully with ideas". If you start off hating the person you're talking with, I think that reflects badly on you as a person.

I despair that folk find it impossible to discuss a topic these days without making ad-hominim attacks. I'm not being aggressive or making personal comments on anyone, so why do you feel the need to behave in that unsavoury manner?

Feminism doesn't arise in each woman in a vacuum,it is a learned belief system taught in colleges & promoted in magazines. As such, one's exposure to it & acceptance of it are both linked to socio-economic and cultural factors that are an accident of birth, & therefore have roots in genetics

You seem to think there is one-to-one relationship between a gene and an idea. Clearly in reality the socio-economic situation one is born into, whether one goes to college etc is all down to the genetic lottery.

Where do you think maternal instinct comes from? Clearly there isn't a feminism gene, but it's an emergent position assumed by some people and not others that have some combination of inherited traits.

You may not like it, but an unintended consequence of feminism is a falling birth rate. The females choosing not to procreate because of feminism are not passing their genes into the pool.
