You can’t really charge the president with murder for an official act. Or at least, it’d have to go through the Supreme Court, which will vote in the potus favor.

The war crime accusation references the Nuremberg trials that punished German submarines for using machine guns on shipwrecked sailors.

They are. Have you seen trumps proposal for the h2a program? It’s almost imported slave labor.

Wait until you hear about the wonderful things being done with pancreatic cancer and mRNA vaccines

Great explanation.

However, I was making a joke about trumps excuse for the bruising on his hands since January. One of them was that it was with ai.

Like the red dots on his hands in the photo?

We do have republicans trying to do that. Just look at space x and blue origin.

They’re going to shoot missiles at a different kind of terrorist insurgent.

Just be sure not to get the tropical varieties found in Lowe’s and Home Depot. They tend to get parasitized and kill the butterflies.

Gotta teach the kids early how they have to work for the rest of their lives as corporate slaves. They’ll be working in their teens after all.

So much of the separation of powers is broken though. It’ll be hard to keep any gains until a left (or centrist) Mitch McConnell depoliticizes the judiciary and government norms are codified into law so we can curb executive power that just runs roughshod over civic norms and mores.

I feel he’d be more surprised by how much of the U.S. government was (and still is) held together by spit and a handshake.

Biogas. You put food in, it turns into biogas, then into electricity.

Problem of course is that China supplies the rare earth metals used in U.S. missile chips; and any war over Taiwan is going to be a naval/air war.

There’s also the possibility of Lai using a US visit to stabilize his political power after a failed coup to instate martial law like South Korea.

They might not get their visit to New York in their first year, but sometimes later.

The move does come at an inopportune time and gives China a political victory they can use though.
July 30, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Not really. Refusing the DPP presidents from entering New York has happened since the 2000s with president Lee.

Most presidents are allowed to stop in Hawaii, while on the way to South America. The New York stop is to gladhand/lobby U.S. politicians and is seen as implicit approval of Taiwan.

Alternatively, China claims the U.S. could destroy them.

Either way, a war would almost certainly damage or destroy the fabricators.

Even a blockade of Taiwan that inflicts no damage would cause power outages that would force the closure of the factories and market.

TSMC moved 6 factories to the U.S. and 2 of them are capable of 2nm now (still risk runs and not economically sustainable, but that’s just a matter of time). So an invasion wouldn’t really cripple everyone, just China (only in short term).

Depends if you believe consumerism is a healthy lifestyle choice or not.

In terms of internet slang? An overly-commercialized product.

It’s usually used to point out the absurdity of contemporary marketing campaigns in the 21st century.

It’s dragging you out to sea. Swim to the side, not towards the beach, until you’re no longer in the current. The current should then push you to shore, instead of away.

Daughter: I’m a Norman!

Fiber rich foods will help keep more from entering your bloodstream, and your liver should remove some that get through.

Otherwise, avoid eating fish as they tend to have more microplastics than other animals.
